Abstract
|
|
|
Dorsal dislocation of the metatarsophalangeal ´ joint of the great toe is rare and similar dislocation of the metatarsophalangeal joint of the index and presents similar problems.
The toe is deformed and shortened with the proximal phalanx extended and with its base displaced over the head of the 1st metatarsal, the distal phalanx is flexed.
Open reduction was performed under the spinal anesthesia because closed reduction was failed.
